"Boo" is a mispronunciation of the French "beau," which means beloved.
From the scars that the Bu-Bo-Nic plague left.
Literally it means a boy doll however if a girl says it to a guy it can be interpreted as sweetheart, honey or just any word of endearment
The correct spelling of the slang term is two words "smart aleck" (joker, wise guy).
It all depends. If it is used more formally, it is pretty much like "dad," (instead of father, so papi instead of padre). If it is used in slang terms, it's what a girl would call a guy she liked, was flirting with, or her boyfriend.
It's not an idiom. "Cool" is a slang term meaning someone is popular or fashionable.
Used between people, "boo" is a term of endearment for a girlfriend, boyfriend or best friend. When it is spoken between two hostile opponents, it can feel like a slap in the face. When a girl asks a guy, "You love your boo?", she is asking if he really loves her or not. Of course, he better come back with something sloppy and sweet.
Its a term of endearment.
If a guy calls you "kid", it is a term of endearment.

When a guy calls you "my girl," he is expressing a sense of ownership or closeness towards you. It can be a term of endearment that indicates he sees you as special or important to him.

Well obviously he's saying thank you but the term "love" is a term of endearment or a pet name of sorts similar to using the terms "honey", "dear", etc.
it means he likes you and wants you to be his boo. Other words his girlfriends
When a guy calls you his partner, it is a rather ambiguous term. First of all, you could be his "business" partner; or you could be his "buddy" with no sexual attachment; or you could be his "love" mate; or you could just be like one of the guys to him. Whatever the case, it's a term of endearment and should be interpreted only as such.
