To move a horse from one place to another is quite simple.

  • Get a halter. You slip the halter around the horse's head
  • Get a lead line/lead rope.
  • Clip the lead line to the halter
  • Hold on to the lead line firmly, but not too firm
  • Stand next to the horse, and watch your feet!
  • Just start walking, a good, well trained horse will walk next to you.
