The first saddle was basically just a piece of cloth laid over the horse. At some point someone used a strip of leather to hold the cloth on, thus creating the first girth. After that the saddle progressed fairly rapidly into what we have today. The Spanish style of saddle is the oldest style, with English saddles coming in second, sidesaddle third and Western saddles would be fourth. Now we also have trail and endurance saddle which are the newest designs.
what do spotted saddle horses look like
Like usual horse saddle except for metal hinges to keep the reigns held to the saddle and foot holds.
The saddle shouldn't be touching or rubbing on the withers at all. You should easily be able to put some fingers between the saddle pad and the front of the saddle. The seat should be wide or narrow enough to fit your horse's back correctly. The base should not be too curved or straight for your horse's back. Basically, a saddle shouldn't restrict the horse's movement in any way.
Not exactly. At first glance they seem alike, but look behind the fin on its back and you see a 'saddle'. It's just like giraffes. Every 'saddle' is different.
Check under the flap on the billet guard. Many times the company's name will be there. If not, look near the pommel (towards the front) on the small, circular button-like pieces. Sometimes they will have the company's marking that you can use to figure out who made the saddle.
I find that a navy blue or baby blue look quite nice on a dun colored horse. To some people a 'saddle cloth' is a saddle pad or saddle blanket. It is worn under the saddle on top of the horse's back.
The earliest horses look nothing like the ones we see today. The first horse was in fact the size of a fox and classified as Hyracotherium.
Looks like a beesting.

You have to particiapate in 20 compitions. First you select a horse to go in a compition. Then you must saddle it with a saddle, horseshoes, and a bridle. It has to be three years to go in a compition though. Once you have saddled it you have to look at its skill. If it is good at dressage you look to the right and there is five squares. They have different pictures on them and words under them. Click the one your horse is good at and it will go to a different screen. There will be tons of boxes. Pick one you want your horse to be in. Then do that 20 times and you will have completed that objective.
