go to you local beautitions and they gently poke through your ear\ears
To fit a 16 gauge earring into an 18 gauge piercing, you'll need to stretch the piercing slowly and carefully using tapers or gradually increasing the size of the jewelry over time. It's important to allow enough healing time between stretches to prevent irritation or damage to the piercing. Consulting a professional piercer for guidance and assistance is recommended for this process.
If the piercing is over a year old you can remove the Monroe piercing for several hours without fear of the piercing healing closed. Prior to a year you are taking a gamble on how your body will respond to the jewellery being out of the piercing.
when you say one side has closed do you meanthat it has growen over the back of your lip ring or what do you mean??
It depends. Has the piercing "tightened" around the ring, or has the skin grown over the piercing itself? Piercings often will grow tighter as they heal, this does not mean you should force your jewelry around to "loosen it up". Just let it heal and over time your body will accommodate the foreign piece of metal. If it's totally embedded and the jewelry is UNDER the skin, go to a doctor. Now. Not tomorrow. Right now. It must be removed by a medical professional immediately.
Well it won't close up so much as actually shrink, then if over time (months and months) the piercing may close however, if the piercing is over a year old it closing may be doubtful.
eh.. mine closed in likee half hour.
It would be better not to do it in the same place - scar tissue is harder to pierce without tearing, and it hurts worse. Try moving the piercing over a little bit.
Well if you take it out you loose the piercing, it's that simple, so here's what you do. Get your folks to take you to the local body piercing studio and get a nostril or lip retainer. Talk to the piercer and explain the situation, the piercer (if they have the experience) can tailor a clear retainer for your ear lobe piercing. Whala you keep the piercing and the school is none the wiser and everybody is happy!!. Yes they will close if taken out for over 1 hour.
No, if the vent is closed it should be no problem.
Well it depends on how long the nostril screw or ring was in the piercing and how old the piercing is. Generally nostril piercings will shrink if the jewellery is removed and left out of the piercing for over 48 to 72 hours, this doesn't mean the hole is closed just that it has shrunk. If you intend not to have the piercing any more, leave the jewellery out and the piercing will close in a few weeks. The hole will look like and over sized pore and over time will blend in with the surrounding tissue.
The following day; be careful not to "over clean" it, though. That will irritate the piercing just as much as not cleaning it.
You should be able to. Just make sure you put a piercing in straight away to avoid the area healing over.
