All Owlient games have the letters OW in their titles - Howrse, babydow and fashiown. The company was originally called Olient - a contraction of the two founders first names: Olivier and Vincent.
The reason for the change to Owlient has never being made clear, although it is likely a reference to the web development framework which was developed by Olivier and Vincent and upon which all the company's games are based - hariCow.
