ZD Mak tools and Samstag tools sell dipsticks for Newer model Mercedes but the dipstick should not be left in the oil dipstick tube -- only use for checking oil level with engine not running . The AT dipstick however is inserted while car is in park , engine running but is also not left in place . Very easy to overfill AT so only add 200 cc ( baby bottle and slim ,rolled paper funnel works well ) between measurements . AT fluid level not at all prone to dropping unless leaking which is rare on newer models .
