hmm, I've been having a similar problem with my own little '95 Geo hatchback; mine's an automatic, and i actually get sporadic RPM's when accelerating around 60mph. it never really seems to settle itself down over time (i.e., long trips at a constant speed over 60mph....), but also has not presented any problems in it's operation, either.just for peace of mind, though, check your timing belt, make sure it doesn't seem too loose or too tight, or damaged/frayed; if that checks out OK, take it to AAMCO and have them double check your transmission.
when driving up hills at lower speed you must downshift the transmission
Metro Normal was created in 1970.
Yes it is. Any Metro transmission made after the year 1994 will fit in your 98 Metro.
how do you check transmission fluid level in a 2001 chevy metro
it is in the transmission
yes
No. The Metro trans is too small.
Can you swap a 93 Geo metro manual transmition with a 95 Geo Metro
transmission goes into gear but wont hardly move
fill to the plug hole on side of transmission
You can locate the transmission fluid leak on your 2001 Chevy Metro by looking at the transmission fluid on the ground. Look above the transmission fluid stain and you should be able to see the source of the leak.
Yes, you most certainly can. Just don't try it with a transmission from a 1.3L - you'll be missing the shifter brace!
