THIS DID NOT WORK ON MY 2007 CAMRY..ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS??
To disable the overheating chime on a 2007 Suzuki XL7, you typically need to locate the chime module or the associated fuse in the vehicle's fuse box. You can either remove or unplug the chime module or replace the fuse controlling the chime. However, it's important to note that disabling the chime may prevent you from receiving critical warnings about engine overheating, so proceed with caution. Always consult your vehicle's manual or a professional for specific guidance.

My 2007 cobalt also has this problem. The chimes and turn signal sounds come out of the speaker in the drivers door. If there is a bad speaker connection, or the speaker no longer works, you won't hear any chimes.
it tells you how to do that in the owner's manual in the back.

The door chime fuse for a 2007 Chevy Cobalt is located in the fuse box, which is typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. To access it, open the driver's door and look for the fuse panel cover. Once you remove the cover, refer to the diagram on the inside of the cover to locate the specific fuse for the door chime.
