I am having the same problems. The Holden dealer has spent 3 days investigating and pulling the car apart. The computer is showing 5 faults in the system, they have resoldered some wonky wires, but still nothing. Same deal, Boot stuck and roof wont open and there is a beeping sound when I drive. The beeping stops when the car is stationary. The dealer has basically said they have no idea but are happy to keep investigating if i'm happy to pay the labour costs! Its a no win situation :( I cant even sell it now because no body wants a convertible that is a sedan!

The beeping sound before a VHS tape starts is a cue from the tape's audio track, indicating that the player is transitioning from the intro or menu to the main content. This sound also serves as a signal for the player to synchronize the audio and video. Additionally, it helps alert viewers that the playback is about to begin, enhancing the viewing experience.
The beeping sound in your Subaru while driving could be due to several reasons, including alerts for seatbelt reminders, open doors, or malfunction indicators. It may also signal that a safety feature, like lane departure warning or adaptive cruise control, is activated. If the sound persists or is accompanied by warning lights, it's advisable to consult the owner's manual or a dealership for a thorough inspection.
To tighten the roof on an Astra convertible, first ensure the soft top is completely closed and all latches are engaged. Check the tensioning mechanism, which may involve adjusting the tension cables or straps located near the rear of the roof. If necessary, consult the owner's manual for specific instructions related to your model year, as mechanisms can vary. Regular maintenance and lubrication of the hinges and latches will also help maintain proper tension.
