If the bonnet release cable of your Audi A3 is broken, you can try accessing the bonnet manually by using a flat tool, such as a screwdriver, to pry open the latch from underneath the front grille. Alternatively, you can remove the front grille to gain better access to the latch mechanism. If these methods don't work, it's advisable to consult a professional mechanic for assistance.
The bonnet lever on an Audi A3 is typically located on the driver's side of the vehicle. You can find it under the dashboard, near the door. It usually has a symbol of a car with an open bonnet, and pulling it will release the bonnet latch. After pulling the lever, you may need to lift the bonnet slightly and press a secondary latch to fully open it.
Insert key into lock, twist right, door unlocks.
Open bonnet, remove anything in your way to the rear of the headlight (air ducts, battery, etc.), remove rear panel from the light, replace bulb, use small hands.
