Yep.. E85 contains about 10 to 15% Biofuel You can create this by distilling your own alcohol and adding it to regular petrol Use a solar still and you'll improve your MPG for Free as long as you can get hold of raw feedstock ( waste food - potatoe peelings soiled grain from Grain stores etc.

Just make beer Distill and add to your fuel tank . be careful though Distilation can be dangerous.. Best to buy a ready made still designed specificaly for the job and follow the instructions

Unleaded regular pump gas will work just fine. Modern small engines are designed to run on low-octane, unleaded fuel. Stay away from E85, or any fuel with over 10% ethanol added.

Can E85 ethanol and regular unleaded gas be mixed?

Regular gasoline can be used in an E85 vehicle, but E85 cannot be used in a vehicle that wasn't designed for it. Why? Bascially moving E85 creates a static charge, so the gas system needs to be mostly plastic to reduce the risk of sparking (plastic fittings, tubes, etc).

Can I run E85 in my 2000 Honda Accord?

You can run E85 in your 2000 Honda Accord if it is flex-fuel compatible, which most models from that year are not. Standard models typically require regular unleaded gasoline. Using E85 in a non-flex-fuel vehicle can lead to engine performance issues and potential damage due to the higher ethanol content. Always check your owner’s manual or consult with a mechanic to confirm compatibility before using E85.

What would happen if you run e85 in a non ffv motor?

Your car would sputter like you put water in the tank. Luckily, if you put in regular gasoline afterward, your car will forgive you. I found this out the hard way in my 1998 Ford Taurus Station Wagon. The car survived running 2 times on e85 and then regular gas. (Not the broken radiator, though.)
