To remove the headlight lens cover on a 1992 Subaru Legacy for cleaning, first, ensure the car is turned off and the headlights are cool. Use a flat-head screwdriver or a trim removal tool to gently pry off the plastic clips or screws securing the lens cover. Once the clips are removed, carefully pull the lens cover away from the headlight assembly. Clean the interior surface of the lens as needed before reattaching it securely.
To clean the inside headlight lens on a ford ranger just simply remove the cap and clean.
The answer to how to clean your headlight lens depends on how dirty your lens is. If it just has bug juice and road grime any good car soap will clean it, just be carefull not to scratch the plastic. However if your lens is really yellowed or the clear coat cracked then you will need kit designed to clean the lens.
If you're talking about the headlight, the "lens cover" is not a separate part, you need to replace the whole headlight assembly.
I think the lens cover has snaps along the top and sides of the lens cover. It also looks as if you would have to loosen the turn signal unit that sits beside each headlight. The headlight lens cover is tucked into a recess along the turn signal unit. It doesn't look as if you would need any tools to remove the old lens covers, but you may need a screwdriver to loosen or remove the turn signal unit next to the lens.
I assume you mean HEADLIGHT LENS.. .. there are 3 bolts on the back, remove, pull out headlight. Remove clips and broken lens. Replace gasket, lens and put on clips FRONT TO BACK so you don't chip the lens. Reinstall with 3 bolts on back.
They make kits for that. See an autoparts store.
Forget about the Toyota; Buy American.
Th ee headlight lens is not removable separately. The assembly is held in by screws on top, and clips on the rear.
