I have a 2005 Megane Privilege and wanted to know what size battery replacement is needed for the key fob
In order to replace a Renault Megane Scenic drive shaft gaiter, a boot kit can be purchased. This kit not only includes all needed parts including the required lubrication but also a step by step guide to replace the boot. Installation includes splitting the drive shaft and repacking the bearings so proceed with caution.
Oil contamination of the clutch drive plate from a leaking crankshaft oil seal is the most probable answer to this, however, thrust bearing or deformation of the drive plate or clutch cover are also possible. Likely to be a costly repair, this.
No, a Renault Scenic is front wheel drive. However, the rear wheels often wear faster than the front wheels, which would only normally happen with rear wheel drive. This is due to the unusual wheel alignment on this car.
To fit a Renault Scenic Megane power steering pump, first, ensure the vehicle is safely lifted and secure. Disconnect the battery and remove any components obstructing access to the pump, such as the drive belt and hoses. Unscrew the mounting bolts to detach the old pump, then install the new pump by reversing the process, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, refill the power steering fluid, bleed the system, and check for leaks before starting the vehicle.
Under the dashboard on the passenger side (r/h drive)
under the driver side mirror (right hand drive)
The Renault Mégane Scénic is not a rear-wheel-drive vehicle; it is typically front-wheel drive. This configuration is common among compact MPVs (multi-purpose vehicles) like the Scénic, which prioritize practicality and ease of handling. The front-wheel-drive layout also helps with space efficiency and interior roominess.
You can't adjust them for Europe. You will need to buy stick on deflectors that you can get from Halfords. I f you're car is staying in France you will need to buy left hand drive headlight's for the control technique (french mot)
we have 2003. Renault scenic 1.9 dci, and the red little lamp, showing that we only have gas on a reserve, turned on the 912th kilometer. i was wondering how many kilometers we could drive with this reserve?
For a Right hand drive, depending on age..... 53+ reg (scenic 2), on the left side inside the car, early shape (Scenic 1) its on the drivers side on the pedal assembly
It means dont drive your car. There would be a fault within the braking system. It could be simply a case of topping up brake fluid. Use correct grade, the megane scenic uses dot4, I assume the normal megane does too, check tho, it will be imprinted on reservoir cap. It could also be the hand brake sensor faulty. Also check your brake pads and shoes, discs/drums etc.
Yes if speedo is NOT DISCONNECTED it must be connected as normal so no problems If you meant can you still drive with speedo disconnected then no
