Disconnect the battery for half an hour - that normal sorts out a multitude of electrical problems (ie radio will not turn off etc)
To reset the electric immobilizer you must put the key into the ignition and slowly turn it. You should see the lights in the car start to turn on. It does not work if you turn the key too fast.
Temperature guage cannot be reset, you will have to get a new one, or if you are lucky, the wiring may just be faulty, ie: worn through in the door jamb, or in the mirror itself, relitavely easy fix
That is the service indicator symbol if it's just been serviced just take it back in and get them too reset it. Darren.
