when you look at the engine block. on the right hand side you will see a green connector going into the engine block. that's the sensor. when faulty it will throw up a warning display saying engine coolant temp to high stop. change the sensor. i paid 12 quid. DIY. make sure engine is cold, take off lead and unscrew sensor, make sure cooland bottle lid is tight. a little bit of water will come out but will stop.replace new sensore and make sure you use the washer previded. job done.
