To change the battery on a 2005 Renault Scenic, first, ensure the vehicle is off and parked safely. Open the hood and locate the battery; disconnect the negative (-) terminal first, followed by the positive (+) terminal. Remove any securing brackets or covers, then carefully lift out the old battery. Place the new battery in position, reconnect the positive terminal first, then the negative, and secure everything back in place.
cambelt should be changed at 70,000 miles , i was quoted £360 at Renault main dealer for cambelt change only , but had cambelt plus water pump changed for £357 at an independent garage.
I own a diesel (1.9dti) Renault megane 2000 edition. I change the brake pads(front) every 15000 Miles approximately.
The key is in 2 halfs and slides apart with a slight pressure in opposite directions
as far as i can remember the battery is located underneath the drivers seat, the seat shoul tilt/move backwards to allow access, it has the usual Renault screw on terminals....robb Depends on which model/year. Some batteries are under the bonnet/hood
Check fuses as the battery change should not initiate a "No Start" condition.
I don't know if it has changed but it is currently showing at 9 on Monday nights.
