In 2009, the single largest factor influencing the North American commercial vehicle market is the preparedness for supporting EPA 2010 emission-regulation-compliant trucks. Although EPA 2010-compliant trucks will not start putting pressure on the already stretched heavy-truck aftermarket, the time is opportune for the OES, independent repair facilities, and the aftermarket distribution chains to prepare for the permeation of these trucks in the North American heavy-truck population. This challenge is also offering tremendous revenue growth opportunities to the proactive market participants that are developing strategies and competencies to cater to the EPA-compliant trucks' demands for service and maintenance. On December 21, 2000, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) signed new emission regulations for model year 2007-and-later heavy-duty highway engines. The new regulations are widely referred to as EPA 2010 Regulations. On the basis of EPA 2004 and EPA 2007, EPA 2010 Regulations aim to reduce atmospheric pollution by significantly reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx), particulate matter (PM), and hydrocarbon (HC) emissions from diesel engine-powered heavy trucks. Chart 1 shows the drastic reduction in NOx and PM emission limits mandated by the EPA 2010 regulation.
Emission standards sometimes result in American bikes having a carbourated engine while the European counterpart has fuel injection. The metrics of the screws are different in Europe compare to those in States
California I think the question was what country has the toughest emission standards.
The California Camry has to meet lower emission standards.
United states
Foreign car manufacturers will have to meet those emission standards on cars they export to the U.S.
Currently Euro2, according to ECE R83
No not as long as they meet the smog emission standards and the safety standards set by the state.
Depends on what sort of vehicle your driving, but most of them are to EU regulations. You can check them out at this website; http://www.dieselnet.com/standards/au/ and because you wont know what the EU standards are, you can check them out here; http://www.dieselnet.com/standards/eu/ld.php But can't seem to find any recent emission standards on motorcycles. Hope that helps you out anyways. ;)
reflecttion is a part of incidentradiant but emission may be different of incident radiant.
The skyline doesn't reach US emission standards.
Tighten emission control standards for factories and automobiles.
No, they just need to keep passing emission standards to be sold.
