I don't have access to specific fuse charts or diagrams, but you can typically find the fuse chart for a 1998 Mercedes-Benz S500 in the owner's manual or by searching online for a PDF version of the manual. Additionally, automotive forums and websites dedicated to Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts often share such resources. If you're unable to locate it, visiting a dealership or contacting a mechanic familiar with older Mercedes models can also help.

Yes
A 2001 S500 actually has 3 differant fuse boxes. 2 of them are located under the engine hood, they are both against the firewall in the back corners of the engine compartment. The fuse box on the drivers side of the firewall has most of the common fuses in it. The last one is located under the rear seat. There is a access panel below the passengers side rear seat, just unclip the plastic panel from the top. Fuse chart can be found in the rear with the spare tire tools.
numbers 20 , 21, 22 in the underhood fusebox located on the drivers side near the firewall.
There are fuse charts stored next to the fuse boxes. 1. Front Engine bay, driver side, main fuse box, next to the brake booster and the driver side firewall. 2. Trunk The fuse box is located in the body panel, next to the spare tire and the mounted over the battery. Open a plastic knob, and the panel, the fuse box and chart are stored inside of the fuse box. 3. Front Engine bay, passenger side, another fuse box, to the left of air filter housing, in front of the passenger side firewall, when you look in the engine bay from the front of the car. However, I don't see a fuse chart in this fuse box. weijen_hsu@yahoo.com
