Could be a couple differant things, is the door lock knob down pretty far, like farther then the rest of the lock knobs? if it is then it just came unscrewed from the locking rod and is just sitting in the door panel, you can just pull it up and get a tiny pick tool and pull the lock rod so it lines up with the hole in the door panel, then have a friend hit the unlock button and the rod will pop back up in the door panel, then just screw the knob back on. If this is not the case, you probably have a bad lock/latch assembly and will need to replace it.
