To adjust the handbrake on a 1999 Vauxhall Corsa, start by safely lifting the car and removing the rear wheels. Locate the handbrake adjustment mechanism, which is typically found between the rear brake calipers or drums. You can tighten the handbrake by turning the adjustment nut or screw until you achieve the desired tension. Finally, test the handbrake by pulling it up and ensuring it holds the vehicle securely before reassembling the wheels.
