Quote: I have a 2003 Kia Sorento and when my husband changed my headlights I asked him to "adjust" them. He tried to put he said that they can't be adjusted to point higher, lower or whichever way because they are screwed into place. Unquote. Just in case anyone comes across this reply when looking for how to adjust Sorento headlights: the answer above is wrong. To adjust the headlights in a car for optimal visibility at night, park the car on a level surface facing a wall, about 25 feet away. Turn on the headlights and locate the adjustment screws near the headlight housing. Use a screwdriver to adjust the screws until the light beams are aimed straight ahead and slightly downward, without blinding oncoming drivers. Test the headlights by driving at night to ensure they provide clear visibility without glare.
