To bleed the fuel filter on a Citroën C3 HDi, first ensure that the ignition is off and the vehicle is safe to work on. Locate the fuel filter, typically found near the engine or under the vehicle. Loosen the bleed screw on the filter to allow air to escape, then turn the ignition key to the "on" position (without starting the engine) to activate the fuel pump, which will push fuel through the filter. Once you see a steady stream of fuel without air bubbles, tighten the bleed screw and start the engine to confirm proper operation.
