I recently replaced a rear bearing on my Classic 900. 1. Jack up the car and remove the wheel. Place jack stands under the car. 2. Remove the caliper. If the line is not disconnected, hang the caliper from the suspension. 3. Remove the brake disc. There are two screws that hold the disc in place and an impact screwdriver may be needed to remove them. 4. Remove the hub cap, the small cover over the axle hub. Remove the axle nut. Remove the bearing housing. 5. The new bearing comes installed in a new bearing housing. Slide it into place. Install a new axle nut and torque to 200 ft.lbs. 6. Re-install everything else.
