The first thing your are going to need is a couple special tools that lock the camshafts in position so you can undo the VVT hub from the cam without moving it. The VVT hub timing is very critical and being off just a little will keep the check engine light coming on until the timing is corrected. Plus the cams need to be in their correct position with the crankshaft or valve damage will most likely happen when you try to turn start the engine.
