To change the central locking motor, first, remove the door panel of the affected door by unscrewing any fasteners and gently prying it off. Disconnect the wiring harness from the old motor and remove it from its mounting bracket. Install the new motor by securing it in place and reconnecting the wiring harness. Finally, reattach the door panel and test the central locking system to ensure it works properly.
To disable central locking on a Ford Transit, you typically need to access the vehicle's central locking system through the fuse box or the vehicle's settings, depending on the model year. You can remove the specific fuse associated with the central locking system or use the vehicle's onboard computer to change the locking settings. Additionally, some models may allow you to disable the feature through the driver's door lock mechanism or by using the key fob. Always consult the owner's manual for specific instructions tailored to your Transit model.
Figure it out yourself stupids
you have to open the glove box part and there will be an remote take that remote central and take to a scrap yard and ask them for another one and change it.
Do the simple thing first. Replace the batteries in the keyfob. The batteries are available at any big box store and if they have a jewelry department they might change them for you.
For most newer model cars you need the key to change the gear.
This is very difficult to do! I would not recommend it for a novice or diyer. Go to mondeosport.com if you really want to know. email@bigstoop.co.uk
