The manufacturer recommends that you change the oil in your Range Rover 220 Turbo diesel every 7500 miles. The oil should be changed at least once per year.
Range Rovers all typically take 5W-30. If you are still unsure, the oil reservoir cap should have specs on the top of it telling you what is best for your specific engine.
what size thread is the oil switch sensor in a range rover 1994 4.2 v8
From the top with a long extension. Pull off the wire first.
Which Range Rover are you referring to? There are many different models and where you add oil may be located in a different spot on one model then on others.
I also have a 2005 Range Rover. I am a mechanic also. The factory recommends ONLY synthetic oil every 15,000 miles. I change my oil and filter every 7,500 miles. It is simply against my beliefs to go 15,000 miles. It is up to you, but I'd do it every 7,500 miles at LEAST. Good Luck with it! BABABONDOMAN
