To change the backlight switch on a Citroen Xsara Picasso, first, disconnect the car battery to ensure safety. First you have to lift up the passenger seat and under u have a plastic top. Under that plastic lid is the battery. Place the red jaw on the + of the batterry and the black one on -. Start the engine and then without touching the jaws betwen them place them back on the jump starter
go to the boot, get at the back of the light and pop 1 of the clips out with a flat head screwdriver, then just line up the 4 bits when replacing!
