Connect the sunroof motor with the sunroof motor retaining bolts. Connect the sunroof linkage. Connect the wiring harness to the back of the sunroof motor.
sunroof pops up,moonroof slides back.
it is about centered between the tailgate and overhead console back of the sunroof.
Usually, there are latches on both sides of the backs of the sofa. Then, you can pull the back straight up off the bracket that holds it in place.
Check the wiring harness for the motor to the sunroof. The harness may be loose and might need adjustment. My sunroof on my 2002 Liberty Limited stopped working and I dropped the headliner and found that there was loose wire. I clicked it back inot place, and it works just fine.
There are 2 latches. usually black, behind the seat on each side. Press them down then lift the back up first. Once you get the back up you can slide the seat back a little to release the front of the latches.
i have a 54 model and it is behind the non opening sunroof, nearly as far back as it can go.
slide headlinercover back, raise sunroof, unsnapp liner, open sunroof fully, pull the sunroof liner/cover out and tint the the glass or refinish the headlinersunroof cover
Are we talking about when you're putting your soft top back on? Because if we are and they don't latch easily you definitely did something wrong. there should be no reason those latches shouldn't easily clasp in place. Peace and Happy Jeeping
with great dificulty. i jad to take my recently bought laptop back as i could not get the darn key back on. i suggest you do the same. :/
Look in the back panel of the headliner ahead of the rear window where the manual crank of the sunroof is.
There isn't a way to get into the trunk from the back seats. The latches for the back seats are in the trunk.
