If it's a later model where the battery is in the boot/trunk, then you must still jump start it via the engine bay. There are two terminals provided for clipping jump leads too. The positive near the fuse box top right of engine bay and the ground point on the left side. They are marked positive + and negative -

To jump-start another car using a Volvo S60, first ensure both vehicles are turned off.
