I have a 2006 325i and i have jumped it.
To jump start a 325i BMW open the hood and locate the battery. On the battery you will find a positive and a negative sign. Take your red cable and clamp it to the positive post on the battery on the support vehicle and then do the same on BMW. Take the black cable and clamp it onto the support vehicles ground post, then connect to the ground post on the BMW. Start the support car and let it run for a few minutes to build up the BMW's battery some. After waiting a few minutes then try to start the BMW, once started remove the cables from both cars and close the hoods.
To jump-start a 2006 BMW 325i, first ensure both vehicles are turned off. Connect the positive (red) jumper cable to the positive terminal of the dead battery, then attach the other end to the positive terminal of the working battery. Next, connect the negative (black) cable to the working battery's negative terminal and attach the other end to a metal ground on the dead car, such as an unpainted bolt or bracket. Start the working vehicle, let it run for a few minutes, then attempt to start the BMW.
