look under it..if there is a driveshaft (cylinder shaped thing going from the front to back in the center) running to the rear axle, then it is rwd, if not it is fwd

Or if you don't fancy that look at the engine if it at the drivers side of the car it's front wheel drive if not it is RWD or All Wheel Drive. Submitted by Marcus leather

Or, from a stop, push the gas all the way down, if your rear wheels peels off then it's RWD, if your front wheels do then it's FWD, and if all wheels then it's AWD.
