the car won't have any Top-End speed or power...like something is holding it back...but this symptom could also be a plugged exhaust or a timing belt that has slipped a notch... or a bad clutch or slipping auto transmission...:)
the factory recommends a new t-belt at 60, I recommend it every 50K miles...
also
everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional manual available...in the reference section, you'll have to make copies of the important sections...good luck :)

I agree with above answer...you won't get enough fuel pressure to the fuel injectors when the gas pedal is a pushed hard. Replacing the fuel filter is an easy job for a backyard mechanic, or else fairly cheap if you pay someone. It seems nobody ever replaces fuel filters, so I strongly recommend it for EVERYONE who owns a car that is not brand new. I think 50,000 miles is good idea....VW might tell you at 30,000 miles....I'm not sure.
Need to know the year.... Typically they have a fuel water seperator filter which is typically located along the frame around the fuel tank(s). Then after the fuel is filtered once it is then filtered again by the main fuel filter thats usually on or around the engine. So typically they have 2 fuel filters.
You will not know until your engine stops. For this reason fuel filters are just replaced a a set mileage. I recommend every 75,000 miles unless the filter is in the fuel tank. In that case it requires no maintanence.
I need to know
Clogged fuel filters result in poor throttle response and lack of power. Filters should be ideally changed before that happens. The 2002 Trailblazer owner manual says fuel filter should be changed at 100k miles. I expect the 2003 manual makes some comment. I have a 2002 and just changed filters.
Most fuel filters are external 2003 was the last year they put the filters on the inside of the drivers side frame rail. starting in 2004 they were in the fuel tank. tweek
After replacing the fuel filter and checking the fuel pump fuse and relay it still does not work, replace it.
I know of two. One is a fine material covering the fuel pick up in the fuel tank. And the other is a cylinder located inside the drivers side chassis rail. From there the fuel goes straight to the fuel injectors.
Not that I know of, although stranger things have happened...
3 , air filter ,fuel filter, oil filter that i know of, and don't forget the cabin filter.
Its Located In The Fuel Tank. Recommend You Let A Garrage Test And Change This. Good Luck
the fuel pump is located in the center of the gastank. it can be accesed by removing the round cover found on the center of the exterior of the gastank - you do not need to remove the entire gastank
Fuel filters are replace at a set mileage determined by the manufacture as outlined in your owners manual. Change it at that mileage. If you have no owners manual then change it every 50,000 miles.
