How do you open the hood on a 2001 Audi a6 and there's no tension on the line from the inside?
Pull the hood open lever on the driver side of car, there should be a tab that slips out from with in the front grill on the right side of the emblem standing in front of the car. If the tab does not come out, lift the hood a little and it should pop out, then pull it and lift.
