First, take the mechanical key out. Using the front of the key, stick it into the key holding place under the mechanical key release button. Now, the plastic back cover should pop out. Take that off and you get to your battery!
You put the key in the drivers side then you open it
You can open it with a key, remote, or knob by shift lever
With your key.
I have a 1987 Mercedes that has no trunk key. Do I remove the back seat to get in?
With the key inserted into the lock.
Open it up and you will find out.
what year is it
Not sure what fob is! But for the key, you need to approach the Mercedes Benz dealership. For the C240, 2002 model, I had to pay around $250 for a new key. It can open and close the door from around a block, so take care that you don't accidently open your car while handling your keys!
Unfortunately I know the answer to this, contact dealership and order another key.
could be bad batteries in the key fob...this happened to me...changed them and it all worked again
Insert the key, turn it all the way to the left, push the lock in and open the lid. Do the opposite to lock it.
if theres not a key hole then its probably a small button in the car otherwise you just pull it open.
