To remove the headrests from a 1985 Jaguar XJ6, first, locate the release buttons or clips on the sides of the headrest posts. Press or pull these to unlock the headrest. While holding the release, gently pull the headrest upward to remove it from the seat. If the headrest is stuck, ensure there’s no debris obstructing the mechanism and apply slight upward pressure while attempting to release it.
