You access the panel from underneath the floor of your trunk. The batter will be on the right bottom hand side under a panel of plastic. It will be secured by two screws, and if your car is like mine, you will need a flat head screw-diver to loosen them. Once the screws are loose, the panel is secured to the interior right wall of your car through a trench-like system, you need to sink the back panel of the plastic, pull out.
To remove a starter from a 2004 BMW 325ci, you need to first remove the screws from the top of the motor. You will see a tube looking device about 3 inches from the top, on the left. This needs to be unscrewed, and the wires should come out with it.
i believe if its anything like my 2002 BMW 325ci that it would be in the trunk on the right. remove the black thing on the right (there should be 2 little plastic bolt looking things holding it down).
The battery can be found in the trunk, under boot to the right hand side under the plastic cover. There is a positive terminal located in the engine bay on the top left hand side.

The keys that BMW provides are sealed...they make them that way so you have to go to the dealership to buy a new one. I followed this diy (link below) and it worked for me on my 2001 325Ci coupe.

To replace the cabin air filter in a 2004 BMW 325ci, first open the glove compartment and remove any contents. Next, detach the limit stop on the right side of the glove compartment to allow it to swing down fully. Locate the filter cover behind the glove compartment, unclip it, and remove the old filter. Finally, insert the new filter with the airflow direction arrows pointing down, reattach the cover, and close the glove compartment.
