To remove the baffle from a stock 96 Bandit S600 exhaust, you typically need to locate the retaining screws or bolts on the exhaust canister. Once identified, remove these fasteners using the appropriate tool, usually a socket or wrench. After loosening the screws, gently pull the baffle out of the exhaust. Be cautious not to damage the exhaust canister during the removal process.
Some stock pipes have a removeable baffle , others dont . If yours can be removed there should be some bolts or screws at the back of muffler . Remove the screw and the baffle should pull out with a little tugging .
The FMF Powercore 4 exhaust typically comes with a spark arrestor and a removable silent insert. The silent insert is designed to reduce noise levels while maintaining performance. un screw the cap from the exhaust tip ( there will probably be three screws, use in Allen wrench to remove them. when you take that of the baffle usually comes out with it cause its connected to the tip. than sart up the quad and it will be wicked loud. i would run it like this for too long tho. it will ruin the engine.
It will make it sound better and it will give you more power. Yes, the baffle can be cut out of the stock pipes on a 2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 883, but it is important to note that doing so may affect the bike's performance and sound. of course not . It will just make it louder . I have a 2003 xr 80 r without a baffle , and it is louder and a little faster than the stock xr 80 , and I've been driving it like that for years and still runs as good as stock . So it does bump up your speed a little , but will let it breath better .
