To remove the rear interior light on a 2003 VW Passat wagon, first, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the light cover. Once the cover is removed, unscrew the retaining screws holding the light assembly in place. Disconnect the wiring harness from the light assembly, and then you can fully remove it from the ceiling. Finally, reverse the process for reinstallation.
