It seems a lot of trouble for a simple job,but for bulb access,you need the whole rear panel (bumper) off.It is held by 10 assorted fasteners,nuts,plastic screw things and some clips which are push-in and expanded with a centre pin.There are fasteners each side on the wheel arch,some under the bottom and some along the bootlid line.Put some old carpet down to lay it on,and best to get a friend to hold an end so you don't drop/crack/scratch it.It's not as bad as it sounds,just locate the fasteners first.Once rear is off,there is a wiring plug and one bolt on the foglamp.
You should be able to get your hand/arm in to remove the bulb holder without removing the whole bumper, but you need small hands, and have to accept the fact that you will lose some skin in the process. The hardest part is the fact that you can't see what you are trying to do, and so have to do it by feel alone, while lying on your back, on the ground, part way under the back of the car. Not the most user friendly bulb to replace, I must admit!
