Most '90 and newer Toyota pickups are equipped with a uni-bearing design which is not re-buildable. You must purchase the entire bearing with housing as one complete unit. Unfortunatley slightly more expensive, but non the less quite reliable and takes the guess work out of trying to set bearing preload. Simply order the new part and see what all is included, then remove the tire and rim, then the brake caliper, normally held on by 2 bolts. remove the large nut in the center of the hub, then slide the bearing assembly off of the shaft. reassemble in the reverse order, being sure to observe the correct torque specs. Also a little thread retainer such as locktite never hurts, to keep the wheel from careening into oncoming traffic.
