To replace the struts on a 2000 VW Beetle, first, safely lift the vehicle and remove the front wheels. Next, detach the strut assembly by unbolting the upper strut mount inside the engine bay and the lower strut bolts connected to the hub. Replace the old struts with new ones, ensuring to tighten all bolts to the manufacturer's specifications, then reassemble the components and lower the vehicle. Finally, it's advisable to get a wheel alignment to ensure proper handling.
