By separating fuel hoses from the filter. Don't remove hoses from the "adapters" but press adapters "buttons" and pull adapter away from filter - hard (I used Tongue-and-groove pliers). It's recommended to remove engine side hose first 'cause pressure is smaller on that side. I also minimized fuel leaking by blocking the tank side hose with Locking pliers.
When both hoses are separated from filter you can simply pull (and turn if stuck) old one out from the plastic band which holds it in place. Then you can push new one on the band and assembly (=push) hoses with adabters on the new one. Remember to check direction of the fuel flow and assembly filter right way around (arrows from tank to motor).
It is incorporated into the fuel pump on that year onwards so no need to replace.

To change the fuel filter on a 1.4 petrol Renault Scenic, first ensure the engine is off and cool, then relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Locate the fuel filter, usually situated along the fuel line near the fuel tank or under the vehicle. Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter carefully, then remove the old filter and replace it with a new one, ensuring the flow direction matches the markings. Reconnect the fuel lines, replace the fuse, and start the engine to check for leaks.
