Hello there.

Int the top of the emergency brake pedal you will find a switch that makes contact when pedal is all pushed back.

It's actually very easy to remove. Just remove before the plastic protection of the lower part of the dash so you can have visual access to the all thing.

After you remove it (it's just a couple of screws or maybe 4), get down and look to the top of the pedal. There you will see the cable that connects to the release lever and on it's side you find the switch.

Now, take care not to brake the switch has you remove it. It has two side clips that must be pressed at same time. They will unleash the switch from the pedal assembly.

After you take it off, first check it state and lubricate it with WD40.

It is most likely that the problem is only lack of it. Try to press some time to let the lubricate get to the spring inside.

After that reinstall it and check if the problem is solved. If not, remove it again and Exchange it for a new one.

It is importante to remember that you must always what the problem came from, before you expend $$ in a probably unecessary part.

Cheers,

Anything, please ask. Oh... and... sorry for my bad English!!
