To replace the battery in a Jaguar key fob, start by locating the small notch or seam on the side of the fob. Use a flathead screwdriver or a coin to gently pry open the fob halves. Once opened, remove the old battery, noting its orientation, and replace it with a new battery of the same type (typically a CR2032). Finally, snap the fob back together securely and test it to ensure it works properly.

It's advisable to purchase a key fob from a reputable source and then take it to a Jaguar dealer or a qualified automotive locksmith for programming. Attempting to program it yourself may not be possible due to the vehicle's security features.
