You would have to have service B performed by a authorized Mercedes Benz technician. There is a special laptop they hook up to the cars after these services are performed in order to get rid of that message on your dash.
On the CLK 320 Cabrolet you have to perform a series of actions on your dash i.e. reset button etc. to reset the service reminder. There is no plug in for a Mercedes techniciam to reset the reminder.
FSS can be reset, look in Owner's Manual.
To reset the service indicator on a 2005 Porsche Boxster, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine. Press and hold the gas pedal while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal for about 10 seconds until the service light blinks and then goes off. Release the pedals, and the service indicator should be reset. If the light remains on, you may need to consult the owner's manual or a professional for further assistance.

Take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic with the correct eqiupment. If you can't afford to go to a service department you shouldn't be driving a Mercedes :)

If your 2005 Nissan Frontier has a full tank but the fuel indicator shows empty and the service engine light is on, you may need the computer or the "brain" reset or replaced. You can take the truck to a garage or to the Nissan dealer to have this done.
My 2005 Chevy 4wd, ext. cab, shrt bed, has push buttons to go from(from top to bottom) Auto 4wheel drive, to 2 High , then to N(neutral), and then to 4 high, then to 4 low. At approx. 50,000 mi. the service indicator light came on and indicated "Service 4wd." I re-set the indicator, and forgot about it. Now, at 63,000 mi. it's telling me to service the 4wd, only this time the reset works until I turn the ignition off. when I restart, the service light comes on. However, the indicator lights that show which gear the transfer case is in, does not light up, and there is no automatic shifting of the transfer case. Is there a simple solution to this problem? Recommendations...Please! popo63
