Once power has been restored to the radio, the correct 4-digit radio code must be entered. This is a security feature to prevent radios from being stolen. The code is provided to the original owner and should also be in the dealerships' records. I also believe that if the incorrect code is entered too many times in succession, the system will lock up and not accept any input until a predetermined time has elapsed.
Any time a battery cable is disconnected the preset radio stations have to be reset and the clock has to be reset ( if that is what you are referring to )
To reset the radio in a 2008 Volvo C70, you can try disconnecting the car battery for about 10-15 minutes. This will clear the radio's memory and may resolve any issues. After reconnecting the battery, turn on the ignition and the radio should reset to its default settings. If problems persist, consult the owner's manual or a dealership for further assistance.
go to dealer ask them 4 code pass
Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes get the radio code before doing this
There should be a acura business card in the owners manual that has a reset code
I had to take mine to the local Chevy dealer to get the code to reset the radio after the battery was changed. I was charged $40 by them to do this.
The reset code is on the back of the radio,
To reset the radio in a 1992 Toyota Previa, start by disconnecting the vehicle's battery to cut power to the radio. Wait for about 10 minutes before reconnecting the battery, which can help reset the radio settings. If the radio has a reset button, you can also press and hold it for a few seconds. After reconnecting the battery or pressing the reset button, you may need to reprogram your radio stations.
There is nothing to reset except the radio. Insert the 5 digit radio code to reset the radio and then reset the clock and presets for stations.
If you remove the battery or break the connection to it, you have reset it. That is why the presets on the AM/FM radio disappear. The question is how. You do not have to reset anything except the radio presets and the clock.
Did you try unhooking the battery
Nothing to reset except radio presets and clock.
