take a hammer and hit it right and left.............
my landrover freelander 2004 1.8 petrol,is averaging 27 to 30mpg.and ive been told if you take the 4wheel drive shaft of it can increase your miles by another 5 to 8 mpg,the best answer is to get it converted to gas/petrol,costs around £1100.then you get simular mpg, maybe slightly less mpg but gas is almost half the price of petrol..
You may have to take all of the pulleys off and then take the thermostat off and then take the timing cover off.
im guessing that you are asking how do you change the timing belt cover? you have to take off the valve cover and then there are a few bolts holding on the cover.
take the cover off and you'll see the 3 in front the back is different you have to tke the coils off snd the plugs are underneath
Take off the timing belt cover and you can see it, one upper and one lower
Take the top timing cover off and look at it.
Yes , it has a timing CHAIN
if the timing plate was taken off then just take off the timing cover and there will be notches on the timing gears so u can time it from there
you have to take the timing belt cover off and timing belt to get to the water pump
Do I need to pull the oil pan to take off the timing cover on FE 390.
To adjust the timing take off the timing cover, take off belt and then line up the marks on the timing gear. You will need a special tool to hold the gears if it is a DOHC(duel over head cam)
