depends what you mean by adjust ???if u mean adjust the mixture the screw is loacted down a small narrow tube above or below the airflow sensor depending on year of car and type of injection system. if u mean actually adjust the airflow sensor to gain more range in the mixture (make it richer or weaker than factory settings ( usually done to compensate for a tuned or worn engine, then (and i wouldn't recommend it due to any mistake can cause the cars performance to be impaired) then you remove the black lid on top of the air flow sensor with a screwdriver, prise the silver spring away from the toothed wheel and turn the wheel one tooth either way depending on what your after ??? then release the spring to lock the wheel and refit the lid with glue or silicone

To adjust the air flow meter on a 1985 BMW 325E, first locate the air flow meter, which is typically found on the air intake system. Use a flathead screwdriver to carefully turn the adjustment screw, usually located on the side of the meter. Make small adjustments while monitoring the engine's performance, ideally through a diagnostic tool or by observing engine behavior. Always ensure that any adjustments are made in small increments to avoid drastically altering the air-fuel mixture.
