To change the convertible top on a 1986 Cabriolet, first, ensure the car is parked in a well-lit area and gather necessary tools, including a screwdriver, pliers, and a staple gun. Begin by removing the old top, detaching it from the frame, and removing any fasteners or staples. Next, position the new top over the frame, ensuring it fits correctly, and secure it with the appropriate fasteners or staples. Finally, check the alignment and functionality before completing the installation.
