To fit the cam belt on a 14 TDI Polo, start by ensuring the engine is at top dead center (TDC) to align the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshaft. Next, remove the old belt and tensioner, then install the new tensioner and route the new cam belt around the pulleys according to the manufacturer's diagram. Once the belt is in place, adjust the tensioner to the specified tension and rotate the engine by hand a couple of times to ensure proper alignment before finalizing the installation. Finally, recheck the tension and timing marks before reassembling any removed components.

The answer is no. The 1.2 Punto is not and interference fit and therefore the valves do not get damaged by turning over without a cam belt.
To fit the cam belt on a Matiz 1.0, first ensure the engine is at top dead center (TDC) by aligning the timing marks on the crankshaft and camshaft pulleys. Remove any necessary components, such as the timing cover and old belt. Install the new cam belt, ensuring it is properly tensioned and aligned with the timing marks. Finally, reassemble any removed parts and check the belt tension before starting the engine.
This is NOT an Interference engine. The water pump is driven by the cam belt so replace the water pump at the same time you replace the cam belt. Belt should be replaced at 105,000 miles. This is NOT an Interference engine. The water pump is driven by the cam belt so replace the water pump at the same time you replace the cam belt. The Honda Jazz or Honda Fit uses a cam chain. No maintenance is required.
Does velocity dash fit in Golf MK1
Can someone advise how i fit an elecrtric pump to a vw polo twist?
You failed to list the year. The Honda Fit which is the name for the Jazz in the U.S. does not have a cam belt but instead has a chain. The name Jazz has been used on many Honda vehicles so look in your owner's manual or call a Honda dealer to find out for sure.
The 2013 Honda Fit has single overhead cam (SOHC).
